  • Patient safety and infection control
  • Taking and recording vital signs
  • Assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, feeding, grooming, etc.)
  • Communication and teamwork in healthcare settings
  • Understanding patient rights and ethics
  • Emergency procedures and first aid basics
Complete online coursework at your own pace, then attend required in-person skills and clinical learning.
  • Format: Hybrid (online theory + in-person hands-on training)
  • Timing: Self-paced; plan for 4-6 weeks, including required in-person learning. Actual completion depends on your coursework and scheduled sessions.
Program completion and state certification are separate steps. Required coursework, in-person learning, skills evaluation and program documentation remain part of the established CNA pathway.
